Nourish your body and mind growing Microgreens with a rewarding and reusable method.
The Grow Kit comes with everything you need to grow healthy Microgreens in your home.
Included:
3 Glass 15oz container with lid
Hydroton grow medium
Seeds, enough for 2 Harvests
Spray bottle
Simply rinse and soak Hydroton in container for 1 hour. Drain the water. Place the cheese cloth provided on top of the Hydroton. Fill the spray bottle with water. Spray water on the cheese cloth. Gently place the seeds on top of the cheese cloth, spraying water on the cheese cloth as you sow the seeds, this keeps the seeds in place and spaced apart. Once the seeds are sown place lid on container, let the lid rest on top, no need to seal allowing air to flow. Spray the seeds with water morning and night for two days. On the third day remove the lid and place under the container. Place the container on a sunny windowsill. Now you will top water the Microgreens to a level 1/4" below the cheese cloth. The roots will grow down around the Hydroton. The Hydroton creates a healthy root system and plants thrive.
The Microgreens will be ready to harvest in 7 to 10 days.
When Microgreens are ready to harvest, use a scissor or knife to cut them.
The Microgreens add a punch of flavor and texture to any dish. Microgreens can be enjoyed alone as well.
After harvesting, clean the Hydroton by gently lifting the cheese cloth and removing the roots allowing the Hydroton to come loose. Remove all the roots. Use a colander and rinse the Hydroton with water. Place the Hydroton back into the glass container and start another crop!
